A friend and I decided to try Ethiopian cuisine for the 1st time while in town for a concert. We shared the couples platter because it gave us a taste of several dishes. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was over and beyond! I'll definitely stop in again!
The food and the service here was phenomenal... will definitely go back! The 4 of us shared a family combo plate with coffee and beers and there was more than enough food. Service was great, the young man who seated us and took our orders was personable and fun to talk with, able to describe different dishes and make suggestions. Glad we chose to eat here.
This is our favorite place to get GREAT vegan Ethiopian food in Portland. We have made this place part of our permanent rotation. The same person is working every time we go in she learned our order within the first few visits. She has started brining surprise off menu vegan items that knock our socks off every time. This place is incredible. I did a happy dance after my first bite! With affordable and DELICIOUS options including perfectly portioned combos, lovers of Ethiopian food and beginners alike can sample a lot of the menu without breaking the bank. The staff are all super friendly and personable and were willing to answer any questions we had. We live over an hour from this restaurant but the drive is well worth a return trip!
So good, one of the nicest ambience and friendliest service amongst the selection of Ethiopian spots in town. I love that the veggie platter has the option to select 5 or 7 items as well as the ability to choose your own. Excited to go here again!
